Background[]
Mars Argo posted a lyric of the song to her Twitter account around June 14th, 2011.[2]
The song was released on Bandcamp on December 5th, 2012, as the seventh track on Sinclair's debut solo album, following an unexpected delay of the band's second studio album.
Lyrics[]
I used to think of little things
That simple side of me has gone away
And all I see is misery and dystrophy
And everything I'm forgetting to say
I thought you were alone
I thought that I could find
A way to throw your thoughts away
For me
To throw your thoughts away for me
To throw your thoughts away
For me
To throw your thoughts
I used to think this was a dream
That piece of me is simply now awake
I want to see the little things
And diamond rings
And make believe my mind is a mistake
I thought you were alone
I thought that I could find
A way to throw your thoughts away
For me
To throw your thoughts away for me
To throw your thoughts away
For me
To throw your thoughts
