"The Medicine Man" is a song by Titanic Sinclair, included as the seventh track on his album, Thick Jello. It is also an unreleased song by the band Mars Argo, and was likely intended for use on their canceled second studio album.

Background[]

Mars Argo posted a line of the song to her Facebook page on July 1st, 2011.[1] After the cancelation of the band's second studio album, an instrumental version of the song was used as an interlude track on Sinclair's debut solo album, Thick Jello.[2]

Lyrics[]

Are you the medicine man?

Official versions[]

  • Mars Argo version – Unknown
  • Instrumental demo – 1:18

Trivia[]

  • The original file of the Thick Jello instrumental version is "demooo.aif".
    • This suggests the released version is an instrumental demo for the Mars Argo song. It is possible that the Mars Argo version with vocals has different production, similar to how the instrumental demos for songs such as "Wet Cigarette" have an enhanced production across different versions.
  • The number of synth-notes in the released instrumental's chorus matches the number of syllables in the teased lyrics, further evidencing the instrumental is from the Mars Argo song of the same name.
