Background[]

When asked about the video in an interview with Noisey released on February 14th, 2013,[2] Titanic Sinclair stated:

QuoteLeftWell, we legally can't talk about that. It's really weird. People find your work and they're like, "Hey, we want you to do a video with us," and then you make something and show it to them and they're like, "What is this?!" Well, didn't you watch our channel? Obviously, this is what we're gonna make. But at least a lot of people watched it! If that was on TV, it would be the funniest thing.QuoteRight

Official description[]

In July of 2011 we were commissioned by PepsiCo, Inc. to produce a 2-minute “viral” video. They hated it.

Synopsis[]

The commercial consists of Sinclair reading out the definition of Mountain Dew, which is followed by a compilation of Mars Argo claiming that she likes to drink Mountain Dew when she is thirsty, and when she is not thirsty with shots of Sinclair saying "Mountain Dew" cut in-between. The video ends with Argo naming some Mountain Dew variants and exclaiming how delicious the beverage tastes, after having tried it.
