"Blank Check" is a song by Titanic Sinclair included as the fourth track on his album, Thick Jello.[1] It was also intended for use on Mars Argo's canceled second studio album.
Background[]
On October 22nd, 2012, Sinclair confirmed via Twitter that he had began working on final mixes of the band's then-upcoming second album, which was planned for a November 2012 release at the time.[2] The final mix of "Blank Check" was completed only a day after this tweet.[3]
Prior to its inclusion on Thick Jello, the song was released to Mars Argo's SoundCloud page on November 10th, 2012,[4] with the original 'sad heart' album cover as its cover art.
Lyrics[]
Never right, you're wrong
Never let you go alone
On a blank check
She wrote
Never want your own
Never need to go home
On a blank check
She wrote
I'd like to go far away from here tonight
Tonight I know who to be
Never saw the sign
Never could read your mind
On a blank check
She wrote
If I can make you cry
I can make you all mine
On a blank check
She wrote
I'd like to go far away from here tonight
Tonight I know who to be
